The Mill Creek Hawks beat North Gwinnett for the first time in school history. The Hawks shutout the Bulldogs 28-0. Senior RB Daniel Leconte led the way on offense with a 3 TD and 152 yard performance. The Hawks defense played an exceptional game shutting out the explosive North Gwinnett offense. U.S. Army All American Derrick Brown put the game out of reach with a 25 yard pick six late in the 4th quarter in the 21-6 win over Loganville. The Peachtree Ridge Lions took care of business for the third time in a row after a 0-2 start. The Lions put the Mountain View Bears offense to sleep in the 35-7 victory.
