At 6’1 220lbs, Adams uses his size and speed to wear down the defense when he carries the ball. Defensively, Nigel is aggressive with a love for making the big hit. DE/TEBuford6' 3"240lbsCaleb Auer is a run blocking technician at the TE/HB position. He does a great job of shooting his hands and driving his legs when run blocking. Defensively, Auer contains the speed and agility to beat offensive tackles with an outside rush at the DE position. With his measurables and athletic ability to play on either side of the ball, it will be interesting to see where he plays on the next level as he currently has an offer from Air Force. RBLanier5' 10"180lbsAshton Barnes is the type of running back who has game changing speed. Last season he averaged 8.3 yards per carry while running for 640 yards with 3 touchdowns. Barnes also has the ability to be a weapon in the passing game as he hauled in 16 receptions for 187 yards. Major exploded onto the scene with a monster 2014 season as a Junior where he led Gwinnett County with 1220 receiving yards and 8 TD’s. RBNorcross5' 10"185lbsBillings is a versatile RB who has the ability to hurt opponents by being able to catch the ball well out of the backfield. Belmar's exceptional football instincts allows him to make great tackles all over the field. He definitely has a great upside given his versatility. He isn't afraid to catch the ball in the middle of traffic and has shown the ability to turn a short catch into a big play. Boyd reeled in 17 catches for 339 yards and 2 TDs in 2014. LB/RBDacula6' 1"210lbsJakob Brashear is a high motor player who makes big plays on offense and defense from the running back and linebacker positions. Brashear has accumulated 858 rushing yards 11 TD's along with 162 tackles in his sophomore and junior year combined. Brashear's Head Coach Tommy Jones told AJC “What Jakob brings the table are the intangibles. RBGrayson5' 8"180lbsBrent can be described as Gwinnett County’s "Beastmode" running back. He has a bruising style of running in which he consistently breaks numerous tackles while carrying the ball. During his 2014 gridiron campaign, Brent ran for an astounding 1,186 yds and 12 TDs averaging 108 yds per game finishing as the county’s 2nd leading rusher. DTLanier6' 4"305lbsDerrick Brown is the reigning GGR Defensive Lineman of the Year. Brown consistently puts pressure on the QB and is a real life nightmare for any and all opposing offensive lineman. Brown led the county in sacks with 17.5 in 2014 while also making over 100 tackles. RBBrookwood5' 11"185lbsJesse Brown is the true definition of STUDENT-ATHLETE. The 2016 Brookwood RB has led the team in rushing during his sophomore and junior campaigns while also maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Last season, he finished with 821 yards and 5 TDs averaging 4.63 yards per carry. Currently, Brown has numerous offers including Harvard, Yale, NC State, Iowa, and Kansas State. In the 2014 season, Cochran anchored the offensive line and led his team to a state championship appearance. Davis has a combination of size, speed and power that is similar to Denver Bronco’s Receiver Demaryius Thomas. In two seasons, Kyle racked up 1842 receiving yards and 20 TD’s. DECollins Hill6' 3"230lbsTomon got the job done in the run game leading the Eagles defense in tackles with 65 last year. He is physical with blockers and a tenacious when making a tackle. Fox is very athletic off the edge. His game and physical stature reminds me of the Miami Dolphins DE Cameron Wake. Tomon has totaled 20 sacks the the last 2 seasons and led the county in 2013. Standing at 6’2" and weighing 190lbs, he presents problems for opposing quarterbacks with his length and ability to break up passes. He completed the 2014 season with 44 tackles and a team leading 3 INTs. Currently, he holds offers from Georgia State, Louisville, and Boston College. He has the speed to take the top off the defense and the agility to take a screen to the house. In 2014, one out of every 4 receptions resulted in a touchdown. QBNorth Gwinnett6' 2.5"190lbsDavis Kelly has a good QB skill set, work ethic, and attitude. He put his talents on display at the MVP Camp on April 12th and came away winning the TOP QB Award. Kelly has the potential and receiving corp to put up big numbers in 2015 for the Bulldogs much like Coach Sphire's QBs in 2013 Hayden Sphire (Murray State) and 2014 John Urzua (Middle Tennessee State).
