The Hawks bounce back from the Corky Kell loss to Colquitt with an offensive explosion on the ground by Jonathan Hawkins and Brian Efianayi combining for nearly 300 yards in a 65-27 victory over West Forsyth. Next: Sep 5th vs Dacula
3Peachtree Ridge Lions1-0
Peachtree Ridge opened their season with a huge statement taking down the Archer Tigers 14-10. Ridge showed a very balanced attack using the run frequently and lets just say the world was introduced to DeAngelo Gibbs the WR! Gibbs made impressive catch after catch and showed why he is one of the top recruits in the class of 2017 and maybe one of the best overall players in the nation. Next: Sep 5th at Parkview
4North Gwinnett Bulldogs1-1
North Gwinnett drops to the #4 spot taking their first loss of the season to North Cobb. North still showed they have the ability to put up points in a hurry and QB John Urzua showed great consistency finishing the game 20 of 29 for 251 yards. North Gwinnett 1-1 Next opponent Hillgrove.

Grayson opened the 2014 season with a shutout victory over Gainesville 39-0. RB Cameryn Brent collected 162 yards on the ground leading the Rams rushing attack. Grayson will be battle tested next week when they travel to Fairburn to take on a very well rounded Langston Hughes team. Next: Sep 5th at Langston Hughes

Coming off of an emotional victory in the season opener against Tucker, the Blue Devils came back in week two putting together a victory over the struggling Brookwood Broncos. It wasn’t a pretty game but Norcross racked over 400 yards total offense with RB Jamir Billings rushing for over 200 yards. Next Sep 5th at Milton

The Archer Tigers take the biggest drop in this weeks Rankings falling seven spots down to number 10. Archer was without starting QB Gabe Tiller in their 14-10 loss to Peachtree Ridge. The Tigers have a bye week to get everyone healthy. Their next game is against region rival Grayson who is looking to be back on top of Region 8. Next Sep 12th vs Grayson
